Engineering for pig complexes
We design the technology of a pig complex from manure removal and pens to feeding and climate. The set of systems is defined for the herd structure and production cycle of each project.

Pens, slatted floors, manure channels, feeding and air go into the layout together, before any concrete is poured. The plan shows where the systems sit; inlets and exhausts are chosen for each type of room and building.

Gravity manure removal
We tie the manure network to the layout of the whole complex, from rooms to the lagoon.
Pens, partitions and flooring
The set of pens is defined for the herd structure and production cycle of the specific complex.
Feeding
Feed distribution with dispensers above the pens, and individual and group feeders for each group of animals.
Ventilation
In pig buildings air must be renewed without draughts at animal level. We choose the inlet and exhaust layout for the type of room and the building structure.

Heating
Piglets need local heating in the farrowing pens; the room temperature as a whole is held by the climate system.
Climate control
In a pig complex different rooms need different settings, so control is usually split into zones.

- Manure removal built into the designA gravity system depends on channels, gradients and pipes, so this is settled before concreting, not after.
- Separate zones for each groupFarrowing, insemination, pregnant sows, boars: each zone has its own pens, floor and climate.
- Climate without draughtsAir is renewed without cold streams at animal level; piglets need local heating.
- Accurate feedingFeed distribution and dispensers deliver feed according to the group of animals.
