Building first, equipment second
Systems, not a catalogue
What matters is not the catalogue itself but how the systems work together. Production stability, animal health and predictable results depend on it.
So we start with the building, the technology and the operating modes, and only then choose the equipment.
In this pig complex plan, the pens, the slatted floor over the manure channels, the feed lines and the exhaust chimneys share one building. Pick a legend item to see where each system sits.
Schematic, not to scale.
How we approach a project
- We design the system for the taskThe building, the technology, the stock and the operating modes first; the equipment after that.
- A complex works as one systemVentilation, cooling, heating, feeding and automation have to work together, not as separate lines on an invoice.
- We calculate with installation in mindA solution has to be realistic on the building site and clear to the staff who run it.
- We fit the solution to the siteNew build, reconstruction or replacing one system: each scenario has its own logic.
- We stay after start-upCommissioning, service, spare parts and upgrades are part of the job, not an option on paper.
Exafan partnership
Farmer Engineering is Exafan’s strategic partner in Ukraine.
So we select and supply Exafan equipment for poultry and livestock complexes, from ventilation and climate control to other technological systems.
We do not simply pass on a catalogue: we help choose the right system and adapt it to the building, the housing technology, the climate and the operating mode.
Sites we have run
From idea to start-up: two pig complexes and two broiler complexes, 2013–2026.
Start with a calculation
Send the building size, animal numbers and the task. With enough data, we calculate before visiting the site.
